The government has lifted all legal restrictions on COVID-19 protocols. However, we ask our congregation to continue to observe some of the Covid-19 protocols i.e. wearing of face covering, use of hand sanitizer (provided) and social distancing, although we have now reduced the social distancing to 1.0 meter plus. Please follow the instructions of the Stewards. We have also resumed community singing but we request that you keep your face covering on while singing.
A happy new connexional year to you all. It is my hope and prayer that this new year will be loaded with happiness, success, prosperity and an increased zeal for mission and evangelism. We continue to pray for our children and teachers as they begin a new year especially after some disturbances caused by the covid19 pandemic. The Methodist Church family set aside the second Sunday in September as a day to celebrate EDUCATION and this coincides with the start of the school year in England and Wales. I want to thank all those who help our children to learn and grow. As we celebrate our education, let us be reminded that they are a lot of children whose parents and guardians cannot afford to send them to school.
May God be with all our schools, colleges and universities. We bring our learners, teachers and supporters unto God. We also bring those whose education has been distracted by natural disasters, political situations and disease.
I challenge you to do something towards helping someone realise his or her educational dream.
