Greetings to you all in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. This my first letter to you after my return from a successful Sabbatical that me visiting many Mission places in Zimbabwe. I was also able to spend time with my mother, my siblings, my mother-in law, colleagues and friends.
I was saddened to hear about the passing of Barry James Jones whilst I was away. Barry was a pillar of strength at LMC and our church will never be the same without him.He held a lot of positions at LMC and the circuit at large over the years. His death is not only a loss to the family and the church but the whole community. The huge attendance at his funeral on the 8th of September 2022 was testimony to this. Our thoughts and prayers are with Evelyn and family during this time. May Barry’s soul rest in peace and rise in glory.
As LMC, we join the world in mourning the death of our Queen. May God the Holy Spirit comfort us all.For more information follow the linkbelow.
I want to end by thanking Phil and all the ministers in the Blue Mission and Ministry team, our stewards and all the leaders for holding fort during my absence. May God richly bless this wonderful team in the name of the Triune God
