FLOWERS – The flowers in church on August 28 are to celebrate Janet Walsh's birthday and also to celebrate the 46th wedding anniversary of Simon and Janet.

THE MINISTER'S LETTER

Rev Cleopas Sibanda is on Sabbatical until the end of August so there will be no letter from him until he is back in September.

THURSDAY 1STSEPTEMBER – 5 yearly inspection of our building.

SATURDAY, 3RD SEPTEMBER @ 2.30 pm – District Welcome Service for Revd Dr Novette Headley, new District Chair at Coventry Central Hall

WEDNESDAY 7TH SEPTEMBER @ 7.30 pm – Welcome and Commissioning Service for Revd Cleopas Sibanda, Revd Farai Mapamula, as Circuit Superintendents and Ermine Mitchell, as Lay Pastor at Solihull Methodist Church. We will have the opportunity to welcome Revd Dr Novette Headley as our new District Chair and Preacher at the Circuit service.

THURSDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER @ 11.45 am – Funeral service for Barry Jones followed by committal at Waseley Hills Crematorium at 1.00 pm.

SATURDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER – District Synod will take place at Bromsgrove Methodist Church from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm.

GIFT DAY – Thank you to all who contributed to the record total of £3,297.00.

CHURCH BROCHURES – Our new 2022/23 brochures are now available. Please distribute as widely as possible. Thank you to those who helped to produce it.

FOYER ROOF – The work and additional work on the church roof have now been completed at a cost approaching £26,000.

MISSION BOXES – Will holders of World Mission and Home Mission Boxes please hand them in for opening as soon as possible?
