THE MINISTER'S LETTER
… From dust you came and to dust you shall return (Genesis 3:19). Lenten greetings from the Manse.
On the 22nd February, we observed Ash Wednesday, and we were emphasizing on a dual encounter: we are called to confront our own mortality and confess our sin before God within the community of faith. The service focused on the themes of sin and death in the light of God’s redeeming love through Christ.
I therefore invite you in the name of the Church to observe a holy Lent by self-examination and repentance, by prayer, fasting and self-denial, and by reading and meditating on God’s Holy Word.
May God Almighty be with you throughout these six weeks.
