I write this letter while our country has experienced some riots.
The Connexional Ministries and Communications Team has filmed a video response to the riots across the country, encouraging people to 'See The Love'. This film, which contains reflection and prayer is set to the lyrics and music of the song 'See The Love' by Christian band The Brilliance. I hope that this film will provide a time of prayerful reflection and I would encourage you to view it, and share as widely as possible.
May we remember that life is precious, and we must preserve it as much as we can. Remember the words that were said by Jesus Christ in John 14:27 (NIV) “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give you as the world gives. May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding always be with you. Let us show love to another and shun any acts of violence.
