I was delighted to see 5 members being received as full members of the Methodist Church on the 3rd of November 2024. This is a very big step in terms of growth as church especially considering that last year we confirmed and received 7 people as full members. Thank you all for supporting our friends as they prepared for this special rite in the church.
We going to have an infant baptism on the 9th of February 2024. May we pray for this day to be a success. Parents and guardians are free to see Becky to organise a date for child to be baptised.
This week I want to remind you about the importance of interfaith harmony. Let us continue to work with members of other faiths as well as those from different denominations. Let us love one another. The 24th of November is Women against violence Sunday. One in three women worldwide experience physical or sexual violence mostly. Let me just remind you that violence against women and girls is a human rights violation.
To join the meeting on Thursday 21 November when we continue our study on the Holy Spirit, please see under Sunday worship.
